Tehran mayor, Iran’s most popular manager

TEHRAN -- The jury of the Fourth International Public Relation Symposium has selected Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf as the most popular manager in country.
The Fourth International Symposium entitled ""The Role of Public Relations in Promoting Social Capital"" was held at the IRIB’s international conference hall in Tehran from Jan. 13 to 14, 2009.The symposium was organized by Iran’s Public Relations Association, Arman Public Relations Institute and International Public Relations Association (IPRA).
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the seminar, Qalibaf said, “People as social resources are the major factor in development of countries.”
Tehran mayor said that social relations, interactive cooperation, transparency, sharing information are among the main issues that public relations are dealing with.
He added public relation departments, as the voice of government and the people, play a key role in the country’s development
